I saw tigers, polar bears and otters!!

Every once in a while, you need to suspend the adult mentality and just go back to places that made you feel happy as a kid. Thanks to Lorri, we managed to get free passes to the zoo. This trip was worthwhile to make, just cos it helped bring a breath of fresh air to an otherwise boring weekend. tks Lorri!! *grin*

Managed to get lots of good shots with my Casio Exilm EX-Z70 at the various animal exhibits. Think the renovation was money well-spent; don't think there's another zoo in the region that can top the Singapore Zoo. They really kept to the ideal of making sure the animals have the right space to roam and yet not fence them in.

Walking around the Zoo, you cannot help but feel happy watching animals that you got to know as kids. Don't you ever try to remember those questions and announcements you would badger your parents with as they followed you around the zoo?

"look daddy, a tiger!"
"why do kangaroos jump?"
"what's that? i don't want to see bats!"
"can we touch the spider with the white and black markings?"
"i want to see ALL the animals AGAIN!!"

I know, I know. Sure got Karma right? *lol*
