daily gripe

longest 45 minutes of my week

so there i was doing my work and after painstakingly collating information from various sources, and finally into one document and saved into a specific folder....the folder disappears.

and not only does it disappear into the recycle or trash bin but it is like totally gone...not to be found anywhere at all within the system. can you imagine the shock and frustration felt in varying degrees within the next 60 seconds of life?

and then it becomes another hour of doing the same collation and documentation and saving...into two different locations this time...all the while hoping that the client doesn't call and ask about the status of the document.

and they say technology makes living and working easier. sometimes i wonder.
