ching-gay?
they closed off orchard road for the chingay parade earlier today and i think tomorrow. i wonder who are the people who actually pay money to buy tickets to get seats? never been thru, much less sat thru a chingay festival? to me it seems like a real good commercial reason to keep the tourists coming.'ooo dear...there is a ching-gay fest-ti-vaaall! we MUST visit singapore. we will pay ridiculous prices at hotels but then it will be worth it to watch a smaller scale version(and safer) of other bigger, better known festivals around the world!'
oh yah, happy chinese new year everyone! fifteen days of CNY and a long drought ahead to National day. yes it doesn't fill me with joy to think about that.there was this email being circulated around about how to maximise your leave turning 20 days into 49 days or something. i wonder who sits around with all that time to go figure out the complicated solutions to these kind of problems.
the event on Feb 15 rocked. got good attendance rates, good coverage and good feedback. hope all future events follow the same routine. *grin* but it's a good start and i am proud that i managed to contribute somewhat to it. not exactly the same as last time when i used to handle entire events but now finding the PR niche angle to it. that has to be good.
what differentiates a funky shirt from a non-funky shirt?
