central to east to central to east
took a long train ride from tampines to outram and got right back into the groove of people watching.realised how simple it is to make a presumption, to decide whether a person is such & such or a lady is 'that kind'. *laughs*saw a couple with two large red bags full of items and all. and the husband(?) was like this normal middlish old age guy and the lady looked kinda like a little mentally challenged and was throwing kind of like a little silent temper.so she refused to get off the train when the husband got off and looked really really kinda peeved. mentally challenged only because she had this gaze in her eyes that intuitively you try and not look anymore.
but what really got to me was that her husband stood parallel to the track and looked through the windows at her, as the train doors closed. his face was utterly completely sad. i had to turn away.

chinatown is a madhouse. you have people trying to rip the living money out of you and you have even more people throwing that money at the rip-pers. what a sight? and the horrible place is drawing the un-initiated to it like ants to honey.
incredible.
