poem from robert frost

this is very very nice - very simple & very apt for my 2006.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Robert Frost - Nothing gold can stay

er.. ok.. i know i'm like totalli not a poet.. but how does a leaf subside to a leaf? and isn't it like funny that a guy with the surname "frost" is writing about spring? maybe he's pissed off it isn't winter enimore...
