graceful start and end to nokia connection 2005

and so June 13 came and went. everything worked out the way it should, or at the very least the way it was improvised to be. to all the media friends who came, sorry that i couldn't spend as much time with you guys as i would have liked to. you know me. i prefer small intimate little gatherings vs. all these big muncho major stuff but if wishes were wings...yada yada yada.

those who want more information can go to this URL - http://nokiaconnection2005.com - and attempt to find out more. not sure how long the site will remain up for. if not, just check out the event write-ups at your normal friendly websites.

but yes, it went well. life is getting slightly better. and i want my bonus in july! *grin*

on a different note, did my usual running route which ends along jalan ismail. was walking back home past the bus-stop when i saw this really cute kitten. not the human variant. anyways, that area is its home kinda cos i have seen it around quite abit. so i decided to go home, grab some milked soaked bread and feed the kitten. when i got back, someone had done her normal round of feeding the neighbourhood cats with left-over rice. but i decided to still give the kitten the bread.

enter this big cat. apparently it felt that food should be shared only after it was full. at first, i stood in a position where the cat couldn't reach the kitten but after a while, i realised that this was their natural way of life and preventing one cat from eating meant another would starve.

how to reconcile? so i let the big cat chase the little kitten away from the food. no excuses. it's a way of life.

definitely not. but what to do? could have been worse. they could have fought for the food.

lesson learnt - don't interfere unless willing to do much more about it.
